Certificate of Motor Liability Insurance for Rental Electric Scooters

This Certificate is evidence that the rental electric scooters of the Policyholder have insurance to comply with the Belgian Motor Liability Insurance Act. The document shall be read in conjunction with the Policyholder’s general and special terms and conditions of motor liability insurance for rental electric scooters.

1. Insured vehicles: all rental electric scooters owned by Policyholder which are rented out to the public for the purpose of transporting persons in the course of the Policyholder’s commercial activity.
2. Policyholder: emTransit SRL
3. Effective Date and time of the commencement of insurance: May 1st, 2026
4. Expiry Time of this insurance certificate: April 30, 2027. Wearing a helmet when using the rental electric scooter is strongly recommended. Please also check and comply with all instructions and terms of the Policyholder, including the Purpose of use and Group Ride below.

Purpose of use

Private use: The rental electric scooter is used solely for private travel.

The rental electric scooter shall not be :

• Used for private hire, public hire or otherwise driving passengers for profit (carriage of passengers for hire and reward)
• Used for merchandise delivery
• Used for renting out (subrenting)
• Used for racing, pace making, competitions, trials or speed tests.

Group Ride

In case of Group Ride, the Host must inform the Guest about the use, the minimum age required and the safety rules, and the Guest must comply with such instructions in addition to the traffic rules and the Policyholder’s terms and conditions.

The Policyholder hereby certifies that the policy to which this Certificate of Motor Liability Insurance for rental electric scooters relates satisfies the requirements of the relevant law applicable in Belgium.

The insurance is valid in Belgium and any other place provided for by Article 3 of the Motor Liability Insurance Act.
