Familiarize yourself with the Dott Code of Conduct

This document is meant to be an easy way to familiarize yourself with the key tenets of the Dott Code of Conduct, but it does not replace the Code of Conduct. You are still responsible for adhering to the Code of Conduct as written.

Fair Treatment

★ Keep the working environment free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying.

★ Employees are treated, and treat others, with dignity and respect.

★ We do not tolerate any form of racism, and nobody shall be discriminated against or favored.

★ We allow different opinions, address problems openly, and seek solutions together.

We do not tolerate corruption

★ We do not grant payments, favors, or other monetary contributions in order to win contracts or gain advantages for Dott or other individuals.

★ We do not try to influence business dealings with private enterprises by making or receiving illegal payments. You may not receive payments from suppliers in exchange for business from Dott.

★ We always pay special attention to avoid even the mere appearance of impropriety.

We take care of Dott’s assets

★ We protect Dott’s assets and handle them with care. We do not use Dott’s assets in an inappropriate manner, for personal use or unauthorized purposes.

★ We ensure that appropriate steps are always taken to protect the interests of Dott, in particular intellectual property and other company secrets, documents and data carriers, against unauthorized access by third parties and unauthorized use by third parties.

We avoid conflicts of interests

★ We avoid actual or apparent conflicts of interest-when your personal interests interfere with the best interests of Dott. You may not procure goods or services from friends, family or a company which you have a personal interest in.

★ All our decisions are made exclusively on the basis of objective criteria, and we do not allow ourselves to be swayed by personal interests or relations.

★ The best rule for any situation that appears to present a conflict of interest is to “abstain and disclose.”

★ If it is not possible to avoid participating in the event or activity creating the conflict, promptly disclose the potential conflict and avoid participating in decisions that might raise the appearance of a conflict until you receive appropriate guidance.

We do not tolerate anti-competitive behaviour

★ We are committed to ensuring fair competition in our markets and to obeying applicable antitrust and competition laws. You may not share information with or otherwise collude with competitors of Dott.

★ We prohibit illegal agreements and coordinate behavior that intends to or may limit competition.

★ If we discover such agreements, we immediately terminate them and impose sanctions.

★ We select our direct business partners according to their adherence to the antitrust law that we have established for ourselves in this Code.

We preserve our confidential information and comply with data privacy

★ We protect Dott’s confidential information and we do not share it with anyone unless we know that we are authorised to do so.

★ We collect, store and process personal data in a legally compliant manner.

★ We ensure all confidential and personal data is stored securely and protected against unauthorized access and unauthorized transmission.

We promote a healthy and safe work environment

★ We are committed to a violence-free work environment; Dott does not tolerate any level of violence or the threat of violence in the workplace.

★ Employees shall comply with the occupational health and safety rules issued by Dott, and shall never put the health and safety of their colleagues at risk.

★ Employees should speak up if they believe that their working environment is unsafe or presents a health risk and inform the Health and Safety team.
